Join us as Commissioner John Dwyer discusses unrepresented litigants in industrial tribunals. The Commissioner will explore the obligation of the Commissions to assist unrepresented persons, procedural and other powers that might assist in progressing matters, as well as other practical tips in dealing with an unrepresented litigant fairly and professionally.

John Dwyer was admitted as a legal practitioner in 1993. He worked for 11 years as a solicitor before being called to the Bar in 2005. His practice was exclusively in the area of employment law and he has extensive experience acting for both employers and employees in all areas of workplace law. John was appointed to the QIRC as a Commissioner in July 2019.

This session is complimentary for IRSQ members.
