Kerry Gibb (Partner, Minter Ellison) 

Kerry leads the Gold Coast Workplace Relations team, brings more than 20 years’ expertise in her field, and is a Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialist.

Having begun her career as a human resources manager, Kerry knows that legal solutions are not always practical solutions, and leveraging off her multi-faceted experience works with her clients to offer real-world, commercial solutions to workplace issues.  Kerry also holds several directorships, and is acutely aware of risk and responsibility at every level, particularly in relation to work health and safety.  

Chanel McDonald (Lawyer, Minter Ellison)

Chanel is a workplace relations lawyer with knowledge in a range of areas, including employment relations, industrial relations and work health and safety law. 

Chanel has specialised in workplace relations since 2019 as a Law Clerk of MinterEllison Gold Coast, gaining practical experience while she completed her studies to become an admitted practicing lawyer in 2020.  Chanel has advised many employers (including major corporates) in the public service, hospitality and events, employment agency, retail, franchising, aviation, not-for profit, manufacturing and construction industries.
